The Catatonia Foundation (also referred to as “we” or “our”) values the protection of individual privacy and is committed to the privacy of those who visit and use our website (“Website”). The Catatonia Foundation protects your personal information and adheres to the highest standards in gathering, using, and safeguarding information submitted through our Website, including all personal donor and gift information. This Privacy Policy applies only to The Catatonia Foundation’s online information-gathering and sharing practices occurring on the Website, and does not apply to any of our practices conducted offline. By visiting this Website, you are accepting the practices and policies described in this Privacy Policy, and you are further indicating that you agree to be bound by the terms of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy you should not visit this Website or use any of the “links” on this Website. The Catatonia Foundation does not rent, sell or trade our mailing lists. When you visit The Catatonia Foundation Website, we may collect and use personally identifiable information about you, as well as other usage information.  We collect information in the following ways:

• Information You Give Us Directly by filling in forms on our Website. This may include name, email address, or similar information that can be used to identify you and is defined as personal or personally identifiable information under applicable law.

We use the information we collect from you primarily to enable us to provide our services in the best possible manner.  We only use this information in compliance with this Privacy Policy.  We will never sell your personal information.

Except as described below, your name or other information will not be shared with third parties unless you have specifically requested or agreed for us to do so, such as in our forums or when disclosure is required by law.

To participate in a forum on our Website, you must first activate a sign-in account.

The user name you choose will be displayed beside your posts to the discussion group, so please choose your user name carefully if you do not wish to be personally-identifiable.

You should be aware that any information you post to a discussion group will be available for viewing by all other members in the Forum.

If you ever wish to have something you have posted removed, please contact info@the catatoniafoundation.org. Posts which violate our discussion group policy may be removed at The Catatonia Foundation's discretion and the user may have his or her sign-in account revoked.

Our goal is to be clear about what information we collect, so you can make meaningful choices about how it is used.  Therefore, upon request, we will provide you with information about whether we hold any of your personal information. If you provide us with your personal information, you may:
